Not a sign from God or anything. Just a sign for my new business. Do you know what I mean? Our little business is flourishing and we’re planning big things like having an actual shop for our products and an official website. Is it too early to do all those as we started just last March? Anyway, where can one find wholesale yard sign? That we might need soon as more and more people are opting to pick up orders from our place.
I hope this is the year that I can finally say that I’m totally and financially independent. But then again, there’s my son’s med school. My father is still helping with that. Oh well…
Are you following The Voice this season? Who are your favorites? My top one is Judith Hill. I also like the Swon Brothers and Sara Simmons and practically everyone from Adam Levine’s group. Adam, I think, has the best singers this season. He was lucky that these girls all picked him to be their mentors. With Judith, he can win this season no doubt. That girl has a showstopping, powerhouse voice. I especially love her latest performance. It was just the piano and her voice. No need for any other instrument or even kustom amplifiers at Guitar Center.
Watch. I get goose bumps every time she performs.
I haven’t lifted weights since last year. In fact, I haven’t had any form of exercise since December. Tragic. But I’ve been so busy. The sad part is being busy won’t make you lose weight. The pounds even add up because of stress. What is a woman to do? i can’t exactly smoke Romeo cigars like what men do when they’re stressed out. Women turn to food when they’re burnt out. It’s so unfair sometimes. Men look better as they age while women lose their beauty. Oh, what I’d give to get back that youthful glow. Anyway, good thing there’s this blog. I’m actually de-stressing. But it doesn’t do anything for my excess fats. I’m so fat.
I’ve been busy lately. This new venture my sister and I are doing takes up most of my time. So when something like this comes along and you set your heart and soul to it, other areas of your life would definitely suffer. For instance, this blog that I have neglected for two straight weeks. When was my last post? March 29. That’s like a year if we’re talking blogging years. Blogging should be updated at least three times a week if not daily. Anyway, I’m still here and I can’t wait for some rain. That’s the other thing. It’s just too hot to sit in front of the computer. I can’t concentrate and no one can. Why is it too hot now?
Anyway, I’m so excited to tell you about this new business. We just started and there’s a lot of room for improvement but so far, we’re doing fairly well. Thank God for my marketing skills, we have orders left and right. We’re selling Trader Joe’s goods and our main products are the Cookie Butters. I’ve been waiting for something like this to come along. This business idea isn’t new. There are other players before us but we’re breaking into that playing field and we’re getting a slice of the market. Our strategy? Lower price compared to others and no deposit. There’s a risk there but as with any type of business, there’s always some risk involved. But sooner or later, I may need back ground check service here at easy back ground just to check if our customers are legit. Do you know what I mean? The products are not exactly cheap. The customers preorder and we buy their orders. We don’t know for sure if they would hold true to their commitment to pay once the products are shipped here. So that’s the biggest risk.

We love weekends. Who doesn’t? Weekend is the perfect time to chill and relax and practically do nothing. It’s also ghe best time to bond with family and not worry about errands, finances, house needs and even those ceramic tubes needed for next week’s project. This weekend, we plan to do another movie marathon. I bought DVDs the other day and some snacks like popcorn and other junk food to make our home viewing all the more fun.
