weekend blog caravan 9
First time to join here and actually loving the theme of this particular caravan. I’ve been blogging on and off for almost 3 years now and I haven’t really introduced myself properly.
Hi, my name is Cherry. Very briefly, there are my children, son and MG, born in 1990 and 2004, and their fathers, Rommel and Tom, whom I share them with. Yes, there are two fathers and I’m not with any one of them. I was married to the first and finally went on our separate ways 10 years ago and had a very complicated relationship with the second. Yes, I’m a single mom and loving it. It could get pretty lonely at times not being with someone but the perks actually outweigh the loneliness. I can do whatever without consulting anyone but myself. I don’t have to iron someone else’s office clothes each and every weekday morning. I don’t have to wait up late in the night just because someone is having a good time or a late-night meeting, if that even exists. I don’t have someone who argues with me all the time. Etcetera, etcetera.
If you’re a wife with a fantastic husband, that’s good. You’ve found your someone. Cherish him. Treasure him. As for me, I’m fine with my children. I love them to bits. And they’re enough. If a love life comes along, I would consider it but he won’t be a priority.
About this blog. This is a collection of my personal life. It’s about my life, my children, my parents, my sisters and brother, my ex-husband, my past and future boyfriends, my friends. I get away with writing about these people and dragging their stories and names into this online journal because they don’t know that this blog or even my other blog exist. Well, some do but they don’t know the addresses.
It’s about buying a new clutch that is tricky to open, dyeing my hair, raising the kids, watching the news, getting pissed and mad, being a single mom, falling in love, shopping with my girlfriends, being Filipino, watching movies, eating out, missing people in my life, travel and wishing it would be sunny all the time.

I’m his favorite and he gives me everything I need.
Yes, I’ll always be Daddy’s little girl forever.

He wants to pursue a medical career.
So this is me and my family. By the way, I want to thank the members of the Pinay Mommies Community or PMC, most especially Mommy Ruby, who offer sage advice on every little thing about blogging and so much more. You’ve been all very helpful.
Wow! I admire all the courage you have for being a single mom. As for me, I am not that lucky in the realm of love though I am still married to my husband. :p
You have adorable children and it seems they love you to bits too!! And hey, though you gained weight and some wrinkles, you still look fabulous and pretty!!

Yes, I’m homeschooling my 6 year old girl..I’m using the Sonlight (www.sonlight.com) program. You might check it out..ang galing ng program, it really cultivates the love of learning sa mga bata..it’s actually my first year now but I’m seeing the improvemnts with my daughter.
