My TOP TEN

Mom Writes

Yes, she does and she writes about happy thoughts and experiences.  With all the negativity and chaos we encounter everyday, we should never forget that there’s always something good to look forward to. Hope is a good thing and this blog always reminds of that.

My Painted Lips

I’m girl and you’re not.  So you may not understand why girls turn to beauty blogs when the tough get going.   The writer is a mom who doesn’t let her busy mom life get in the way of taking care of herself because in the end, who will take of the children if mom has a bad hair day or a broken nail? Just kidding.  Painted Lips shakes me out of my self-scrutiny and self-pity and reminds me to just put on my lispstick on and everything will be alright.

Mommy Survival Guide

Moms were never provided manuals on how to take care of the children, manage the home, cook for a troop etcetera.  That’s why this blog is the go-to manual for all moms out there.

Pepperific

A single mom in this tough and crazy world?  Hat’s off to you.  You’re my idol as I know how difficult it is to be a single mom.  I am, too.  Single moms have an understanding.  That’s why I love this blog.  I can relate to almost, if not all, her experiences.

Green Living Ideas

This blog reminds me how bad I’ve been.  And we need a bit of spanking from time to time.  I get tons of tips here on how to be more eco-conscious.  Believe me when I say it’s hard but I’m trying my best.

Tottering Mama

A hands-on mom to her two kids and a loving wife to her husband.  How does she do it?  Well, you’d have to read her blog and catch a thing or two about being a full-time mother and wife.

Certified Foodies

I love this food blog because the writers (yes, there are two) sometimes have different opinions about their restaurant and food experiences.  And I love that they’re not all praises.  That’s a rarity when it comes to food blogs.  With other food blogs, I feel like I’m reading the PR corner of a newspaper.  This is not the case with this Certified Foodies.  Always expect honest reviews…kahit pangit.

Notepad Corner

Been there, been that.  That’s the reason why I gravitate to this blog.  The writer has experienced firsthand what she writes about.  And that’s important if you plan to put up a blog.  A blog is a personal matter mif you don’t already know.

LEVYousa

What can I say?  She writes about interesting topics, latest events and products.  Her blog is very informative without being journalistic.  In fact, writing is personal but topics are universal.  Two extremes but she makes it work.

The Bloggers Journal

We’ve all been there.  I was once a newbie but not anymore.  Thanks to this blog, I’ve come to tweak my blogs without resorting to googling everything.  I just have to search her  site about any topic and voila, she has what I need.  What more can I ask for?
