maginhawa strip: GAYUMA ni Maria
This post is long overdue. We’ve been eating here like forever and I don’t know why I kept postponing writing about it. No reason at all. Perhaps I just don’t wanna share it. But ever since a group buying site featured this resto, I knew my love affair with the Pumpkin Soup, Mushroom Soup, the Chicken w/ Mozzarella & Mushroom and The Greatest Taboo (Banana Cream Pie) would soon be over. I hate it when a place becomes too commercialized. It loses its appeal, its charm. But anyone who hasn’t eaten here is missing out on a lot of things. The dishes mentioned here and the whole kooky ambience of the resto are more than enough reasons to visit Gayuma ni Maria even just once. But I’m pretty sure your first visit won’t be the last.
the resto is a good date place…
I always order this Chicken w/ Cheese & Mushroom. This goes by another name, I just can’t remember what it’s called
Forget LOVE…I’d rather fall in Chocolate…
One of my faves here…The Greatest Taboo

I wish I live near Diliman, so I can also try all the restos there. Hmmm.. yummy cake!

My friend has been raving about this resto for ages. Apparently its very well-known among the Ateneo elite. =)
